The purpose of the OED-DETECTION-COMMUNITY list is to disseminate information and requests from the Oahu Early Detection (OED) Project to members of the Detection Community and to facilitate discussion among members regarding incipient weeds on Oahu. The Detection Community is an open group; individuals who are not members are welcome to subscribe.

Historically, HEAR has also received funding and/or support from the Pacific Basin Information Node (PBIN) of the National Biological Information Infrastructure (NBII), PIERC (USGS), the USFWS, HCSU (UH Hilo), and HALE (NPS).
