HEAR's Database of Data Sources
Alien Species Information in the State of Hawaii

A product of the Hawaiian Ecosystems at Risk Project (HEAR)

[New!] Data Sources in the State of Hawaii RE: Alien Species [New!]

Survey results* ** from HEAR's statewide survey for alien species data sources in the State of Hawaii is now available online. Further information for a particular data source may be available by writing to the HEAR database administrator; be sure to include in your correspondence the "Data source key" (as noted in the report) for the record in question.

If you know of other publicly-available (or private) sources in Hawaii of alien species information--or information sources anywhere relevant to alien species in Hawaii--please contact HEAR with details; we will happily include any new sources in our database, and will publish the information at this site (only with the permission of the data owner, of course).

*This report includes only information that was explictly released as "public information" by the respective data owner. As of this posting (12 January 1998), we have more information which almost certainly may be released, but--in the interest of maintaining the trust of our collaborators--we will not publish until getting an explicit "okay" from each data owner. "Work in progress..."
